Welcome

Welcome to the CVA Bulletin Contributor Guidelines. This guide ensures that all submitted articles reflect the values, tone, professionalism, and branding of Cornerstones Vision Academy (CVA).

The CVA Bulletin is the Academy’s official platform for sharing news, achievements, reflections, and stories from our school community and partners.

Purpose of the CVA Bulletin

The CVA Bulletin exists to:

  • Share school news, achievements, and events
  • Highlight student creativity and academic excellence
  • Publish educational insights and reflections
  • Strengthen communication within and beyond the CVA community

Who Can Contribute

Submissions are welcome from:

  • CVA staff and administration
  • Teachers and academic facilitators
  • Students (with appropriate guidance)
  • Approved alumni and institutional partners
  • Invited guest writers

Note: All submissions are reviewed before publication.

Content Standards

All articles must:

  • Be original and written by the contributor
  • Use clear, respectful, and professional language
  • Be appropriate for a school and community audience
  • Avoid offensive, political, or discriminatory content
  • Respect cultural, educational, and institutional values

Accepted Article Types

  • School news and announcements
  • Academic articles and educational insights
  • Student achievements and activities
  • Arts, culture, and creative writing
  • Opinion pieces (educational and constructive)
  • Community engagement stories

Writing & Formatting Guidelines

  • Recommended length: 500–1,200 words
  • Use headings and short paragraphs
  • Maintain a formal, clear, and engaging tone
  • Avoid excessive formatting, emojis, or decorative fonts

Images & Media

  • Only upload images you own or have permission to use
  • Images must be school-appropriate and relevant
  • Avoid watermarked or copyrighted material
  • Featured images may be resized for layout consistency

Submission & Review Process

  1. Submit your article using the Write Article option
  2. Your article is saved as Pending Review
  3. The editorial team reviews content for accuracy and tone
  4. Approved articles are published on the CVA Bulletin
  5. Revisions may be requested before approval

Editorial Rights

The CVA Bulletin editorial team reserves the right to edit grammar, clarity, formatting, and titles to ensure consistency with the Academy’s standards.

Contributor Responsibility

By submitting content, contributors confirm that the work is original, accurate, and submitted in good faith, and that they accept editorial decisions.
